Last year, Mrs. Strub entered back into the world of education, after taking time off to be a stay at home mother for her two daughters. She worked at Windham Middle School as an IA for students in the 7th grade.

Mrs. Strub’s philosophy of teaching Middle School Art is that every student can benefit from exploring the world of Art. The middle school years are the perfect time to learn techniques  to constructively critique artwork. Students can acquire ways to become insightful observers of Art, learn how it connects with different time periods and is influenced by historical events. But, most importantly, Art should be celebrated as something that can invoke emotion, express our feelings, and a tool to connect us with each other.

Mrs. Strub is currently working on reactivating her NH certifications in both Elementary Ed and Art Education. She enjoys taking classes at The Currier Museum of Art and educational workshops at UNH, Manchester. Mrs. Strub lives in New Hampshire with her husband, two wonderful daughters, their adorable Jack Russell named Calli and Luna the goldfish. She loves going to the beach with her family, trying new foods and listening to a wide variety of music.
