5th Annual Veterans Day Assembly

On Wednesday, November 14, Founders celebrated Veterans Day with our 5th annual school-wide assembly, hosted by the student Veterans Affairs Committee. We were honored to have present a number of veterans related to or invited by our students.

Students with veterans in their family were able to invite them to come to the school for this special occasion. The program started with remarks from the Dean, then proceeded to the Pledge and National Anthem.

Mrs. Cormier’s Chorus 4 class sang...followed by one of our Veteran guests performing God Bless the USA. Student Sabeena M. read In Flanders Fields. We had two veteran speakers this year, the latter of which is Mr. Kline, whom we have had the privilege to hear every year since he joined the school.

After the assembly, our Veteran guests and their students were invited to a breakfast buffet and a tour of the school. We had a great time and look forward to doing this for the next five years and beyond!
