Recipient of the Richard Gilder History Prize
Blest Kampayana - Junior, Class of 2025
On March 19, Blest was honored with the Richard Gilder History Prize by the Department of History at The Founders Academy.
This recognition was given in appreciation of her dedication to history and exceptional writing skills in the field. Additionally, Blest is currently enrolled in four consecutive history classes at Founders including Advanced Placement (AP) History.

About the Richard Gilder History Prize:
This prize serves as an opportunity for teachers to honor a promising and passionate history student in their school. Students honored with this prize have the opportunity to join the Gilder Lehrman History Scholars, an honorary group of students who are among the first to learn about new courses, scholarships and other opportunities offered by the Institute.
